Steve “Dusty” Smith has been an attorney since 1990. He also served in the Military reaching the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Furthermore, he held a position in Honduras where he was the legal liaison between the Military and the American Embassy in Honduras. While stationed in Honduras, LTC Smith was nominated for the honor of being the Best Young Attorney in the United States Military.

In 1999, LTC Smith was elected to the city council in the City of Lancaster, Texas, where he served three terms. In 2000, LTC Smith was voted “Best Elected Official in the Best Southwest”, which included Lancaster, De Soto, Duncanville, Cedar Hill, and Midlothian, Texas. After moving to Dallas in 2002, LTC Smith was appointed acting chairman for the City of Dallas Civil Service Board by Mayor Laura Miller. LTC Smith has also served on the Board of Directors for the Oak Cliff Chamber of Commerce.

LTC Smith is also a published author and speaker.

In his free time, LTC Smith enjoys reading, writing music, and singing. He is also very involved with his Church, and being involved in LTC Smith has performed professionally and has won honors for his singing and songwriting. Most of all, however, LTC Smith enjoys spending time with his family. His family consists of his wife, Susan, his sons Joshua and Matthew, and his daughter Brittany.

Mahsa graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington as a dual major, with a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy. She went on to receive her J.D. in San Diego, California at Thomas Jefferson School of Law. While in law school, Mahsa was an Intellectual Property Fellow and Chair of the Moot Court Honor Society where she competed in the National Entertainment Law Moot Court Competition at Pepperdine.

During law school, Mahsa had the opportunity to study abroad in Hangzhou, China as well as Nice, France where she studied International Law under the guidance of a United States Supreme Court Justice.

Jesús Rosa is an accomplished attorney specializing in personal injury law, focusing on car accidents and truck accidents. A graduate of Universidad de Cádiz earning a LLM and Southern Methodist University with a Master’s in Comparative and International Law with business concentration, Jesús has a robust background in legal practice.
